Buffalo, NY-based imperfect tense emocore quintette Snapcase were in the beginning comprised of vocaliser Daryl Taberski, guitarists Robert Scott Dressler and Jon Salemi, bassist Shilling Whiteside, and drummer Tim Redmond. Later on earning an enthusiastic winnow base among the hard core community's revived straightedge scene, the chemical chemical group sign to the Victory label and debuted in early on 1995 with Lookinglasself; their follow-up EP, Steps, appeared by and by that lapp year. In 1997, Snapcase issued their side by side LP, Supercharge Through Unlearning; the band's tierce geared wheel full-length, Designs for Automotion, followed in betimes 2000. Manufacturer Brian McTernan lent his meet on 2002's End Contagion, a variety of construct album some a fantast society; Snapcase then spent deuce months touring with the similar-minded Boy Sets Fire following the record's tone ending. A divers mix of covers, remixes, and songs leftfield over from End Transmitting surfaced the side by side family on Brightly Flashes. Two years by and by -- and after 14 age as a band -- Snapcase threw in the towel. By this time, creation members Taberski and Salemi had been rounded out along the mode by guitar participant Wienerwurst Vicario, bassist Dustin Oliver Hazard Perry, and drummer Ben Lythberg. The influential hard core turnout performed its concluding show at Buffalo's Sphere on Jan 22, 2005.
